The city of Buckhannon, West Virginia, is considering allowing bowhunting to control the deer population, after local residents have voiced numerous complaints about the deer destroying their gardens and personal property.

The proposed solution would allow deer hunting in the city starting in September, and bowhunting would be the only permissible method.
