New Jersey is now permitting bow hunters to shoot within 150 feet of a dwelling, reduced from the 450 feet previously required.

This change recognizes that the arrow range and trajectories of bowhunting are considerably different from those of hunting with firearms, and acknowledges that bowhunters don’t need to be subjected to the same restrictions.
